Facilities Management Representative

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility needs including maintenance, security, and grounds for assigned areas.
• Coordinate daily building maintenance, repairs, and testing for mechanical systems like HVAC, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Manage site life safety and security systems, including fire suppression, access control, and CCTV.
• Plan and execute facility projects within budget and schedule, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
• Oversee resident business partners and outside contractors to ensure safe work practices and high-quality execution.
• Maintain and improve the facilities asset database to track equipment and system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Facilities Management or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Facilities Management or Engineering.
• Must be available to work alternative shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be authorized to work in the US as GM does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
• Must be able to work onsite in Rochester, NY on a full-time basis.

• Experience managing resident business partners and outside contractors.
• Previous supervisory experience in a unionized environment.
