Facilities Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Must be based in Long Beach, California, United States (with occasional work at Torrance HQ)

Salary: $27 - $38 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and compressed air systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize production downtime.
• Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of manufacturing equipment.
• Execute scheduled maintenance tasks using CMMS and document all work orders.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local building regulations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams on facility improvement projects.

Requirements

• Ability to lawfully access information subject to US export controls.
• 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience maintaining industrial HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or GED (Technical school or Associate's degree preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or elevated platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or semiconductor facilities.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems (120V–480V) and vacuum systems.
• Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certification.
• Welding, fabrication, or machining experience.
• Basic PLC or industrial controls troubleshooting experience.
