What you will do

• Provide value-added loss prevention and risk control services to a diverse portfolio of commercial transportation clients.
• Evaluate driver safety exposures, fleet operational controls, and regulatory compliance posture.
• Assess Commercial Auto, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Cargo, and Crime exposures.
• Develop comprehensive risk assessment reports and actionable strategies to reduce transportation-related losses.
• Design and deliver driver safety and DOT compliance training programs using multimedia platforms.
• Serve as the primary liaison for transportation loss control activities between clients and insurance carriers.

Requirements

• BS degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or a safety-related discipline.
• 7+ years of transportation management, fleet risk management, or DOT/FMCSA compliance experience.
• In-depth working knowledge of FMCSA regulations (49 CFR Parts 300–399).
• Must be within driving distance and able to commute to a local MMA Southeast office.
• Proven track record of delivering solutions for commercial transportation loss exposures.
• Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• MS degree in a relevant field.
• Professional designations such as ARM, CSP, CDS (Certified Director of Safety), or SMS (Safety Management Specialist).
