What you will do

• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor the activities of a claims unit to ensure high-quality production standards.
• Schedule, prioritize, and distribute workflow to meet deadlines and performance objectives.
• Provide technical assistance to staff regarding claim disposition, litigation, and complex coverage issues.
• Audit procedures and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations.
• Establish and adjust claims reserves and authorize payments as required.
• Identify and refer fraudulent claims activity to the SIU and relevant authorities.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Charlotte, North Carolina
• 3-5 years of claims experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience managing technical staff.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• College degree preferred.
