What you will do

• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for site investigations, tank closures, site remediation, and field work.
• Oversee staff and subcontractors to ensure work is executed correctly and stays within budget.
• Handle professional correspondence with clients and regulatory bodies, including the NYSDEC.
• Prepare and review technical reports, cost estimates, and project proposals.
• Coordinate with corporate and project-level safety and quality management staff to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to deliver results on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience.
• Experience with Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and the NYSDEC Brownfield Cleanup Program.
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification with an up-to-date annual refresher.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workloads simultaneously.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license is preferred.
