What you will do

• Manage environmental due diligence, investigation, and remediation projects including Phase I/II ESAs and Brownfield Cleanup Programs in the NYC metro area.
• Oversee project scope, budget, staffing, and technical deliverables from initiation to completion.
• Prepare and review work plans, proposals, investigation reports, and regulatory submittals.
• Coordinate field investigations, including soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling programs.
• Mentor junior staff by providing technical guidance and project management direction.
• Communicate project status and technical recommendations to clients and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of professional environmental consulting experience.
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification required.
• Knowledge of NYC E-Designation and NYS Brownfield Cleanup Program regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites within the five boroughs.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Brooklyn, NY.

Nice to have

• M.S. degree in a related field.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Experience with in-situ remediation, vapor mitigation, and groundwater remediation.
• Experience in client development and proposal strategy.
