What you will do

• Implement marketing strategies to identify and capture new large account business opportunities.
• Underwrite, price, and coordinate the issuance of new loss-sensitive accounts exceeding $350k in premium.
• Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders to provide guidance and enhance service delivery.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with agents through regular visits and trade show participation.
• Provide technical support to field staff regarding product offerings and underwriting tools.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive intelligence to maintain a market advantage.

Requirements

• Must be based in OH, WV, or PA.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial underwriting experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of field underwriting or insurance marketing experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing.
• Proficiency in desktop tools and automated underwriting systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.

Nice to have

• College degree.
• Completion or pursuit of professional designations such as INS, AU, CIC, or CPCU.
