Strategic Partnerships Expert (Fintech)

Location: Milan, Italy

Annual base salary starting from: €48,000, plus variable remuneration based on role, business and individual performance.

What you will do

• Define, establish, and manage the partnership ecosystem for Business Banking customers.
• Scout the market, identify new opportunities, and assess and prioritize potential partnerships.
• Support partner negotiations throughout the lifecycle, from requirements definition to contract development and communication strategy.
• Collaborate with bank departments, senior management, and multifunctional teams on partnership setup.
• Develop business requirements and business cases to evolve the Business Banking offering.
• Monitor partnership performance, market trends, innovation, and competitor benchmarks.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree, postgraduate qualification, or equivalent background in Economics, Management, Engineering, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in banking, fintech, or strategy consulting.
• Proven experience starting and managing partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of national and international banking and fintech markets, including innovation trends and competitor activity.
• Experience identifying business opportunities and improvements autonomously in dynamic, collaborative environments.
• Fluent English and excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations for senior management.
