Civil Engineer III (AutoCAD)

Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States; daily travel for field assignments is required.

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Support planning, civil design, permitting, and contract document preparation.
• Develop site layouts, grading and utility plans, drainage systems, and erosion and sediment control designs.
• Perform stormwater calculations and modeling, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, profiles, cross-sections, and construction details.
• Oversee construction and conduct field sampling and monitoring for site development, green infrastructure, environmental remediation, and climate resiliency projects.
• Manage submittals and RFIs while providing technical support to project managers.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and civil project administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of civil engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license required, preferably in a New England state.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related Autodesk products.
• Experience with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software is preferred; familiarity with ArcGIS is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily for field assignments.
