TL;DR
Lead Data Platform Engineer (GCP): Designing and developing tools that standardize, automate, and simplify Data Platform operations with an accent on internal developer tooling and platform engineering. Focus on building Agentic AI workflows, maintaining shared Apache Airflow platforms, and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code to improve engineering efficiency.
Location: Must be based in the European Union and hold a valid work permit.

What you will do
- Design and develop tools to standardize and automate Data Platform operations.
- Build and maintain internal CLI tools and Data Product templates.
- Implement Agentic AI workflows and developer-assistance capabilities.
- Maintain and enhance shared Apache Airflow platforms using Cloud Composer.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code assets and Terraform modules.
- Contribute to GitOps initiatives using Backstage, GitHub, ArgoCD, and Crossplane.
Requirements
- Must be based in the European Union with a valid work permit.
- Professional proficiency in Polish and English.
- Strong commercial experience with Python development.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
- Experience with Apache Airflow and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Experience building platform engineering or internal self-service solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience with Vertex AI or GenAI platforms.
- Knowledge of Backstage plugin development.
- Experience with dbt, Kedro, or ArgoCD.
- Experience building observability and platform analytics solutions.
