TL;DR
Data Engineer (SQL/Python): Building optimized data models and reliable pipelines that integrate databases, APIs, streaming platforms, and files with an accent on data integrity, stakeholder requirements, and cost-efficient infrastructure. Focus on writing complex SQL, orchestrating data processing with Python and Airflow, resolving data quality issues, and reducing technical debt.
Location: Hybrid work from the Warsaw office 3 days a week, Warszawa, Poland

What you will do
- Build and implement optimized data models that support business requirements and maintain data integrity.
- Integrate data from databases, APIs, streaming platforms, and files.
- Monitor the performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of data pipelines and storage systems.
- Troubleshoot data issues, resolve data quality problems, and reduce technical debt.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
Requirements
- Very strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Experience with data modeling and gathering requirements from business stakeholders.
- Ability to write clean, functional Python for Airflow orchestration and data processing.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
- Fluent Polish and English at B2 level or higher.
- Availability to work from the Warsaw office 3 days a week.
Nice to have
- Experience with BigQuery, dbt, or Airflow.
- Experience building reusable AI solutions such as prompts, workflows, skills, or automations.
- Interest in developing further in areas such as ETL or data governance.
