TL;DR
Senior Data Engineer (Google Cloud): Building and modernizing scalable data solutions in GCP with an accent on BigQuery, Dataform, Python, SQL, and ETL migration. Focus on automating Informatica migrations, designing data pipelines, implementing governance and CI/CD, and integrating cloud and on-premises systems.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and modernize scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on BigQuery and Dataform.
- Build and optimize data models, SQL code, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data transformation processes.
- Support migration of ETL workflows from Informatica to BigQuery and Dataform.
- Automate migration, testing, and regression testing activities with Python and SQL.
- Implement orchestration, CI/CD, monitoring, access management, authentication, and authorization.
- Integrate GCP with on-premises systems and contribute to modern reporting and analytics solutions.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in data engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery and Dataform.
- Strong Python and SQL skills, including optimization and automation.
- Experience with data modeling, pipelines, orchestration, CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud-to-on-premises integration.
- Good written and spoken German and English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Informatica and ETL migration to BigQuery and Dataform.
- Familiarity with QLIK or equivalent GCP reporting solutions.
