Data Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Flexible hybrid work from Warsaw or Poznań, with one day in the office per week

Salary: 800–1,500 PLN per day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Build and optimize cloud-based data warehouse architectures and data models.
• Process and manage large-scale datasets in Big Data environments.
• Develop data solutions with GCP services, especially BigQuery and Dataflow.
• Create and maintain workflows using Python, PySpark, and Airflow.
• Prepare and manage data structures for AI/ML model training and production deployment while maintaining platform reliability, scalability, testing, CI/CD, and code review practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer working with large-scale data environments.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling and cloud data warehouse architecture.
• Practical experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, particularly GCP, BigQuery, and Dataflow.
• Strong Python skills for Big Data processing, including PySpark and Airflow.
• Knowledge of MLOps concepts, machine learning model lifecycles, Unix/Linux environments, and software engineering best practices.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Scala or Java.
