AI / GenAI Engineering Lead (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland. Hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices for most of the week. Client-facing work may require short European engagements and business travel.

What you will do

• Design, build and deploy production-grade generative AI and agentic AI applications.
• Develop multi-agent systems with orchestration, routing, delegation, tool calling, state management, memory and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise APIs, applications, databases, structured and unstructured data, and business workflows.
• Build RAG and enterprise knowledge-retrieval capabilities, including grounding, embeddings and vector search.
• Deploy and operate AI workloads on AWS using containerisation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring and observability.
• Define reusable architecture patterns and engineering standards while collaborating with architects, engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning engineering or generative AI delivery.
• Strong Python development skills and solid software-engineering fundamentals, including modular design, code review, version control and automated testing.
• Experience building production GenAI or agentic AI applications, complex agentic workflows or multi-agent systems.
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain or comparable agent orchestration technologies, as well as tool calling, routing, delegation, memory and context management.
• Experience with enterprise APIs, databases, RAG, document processing, evaluation, Docker, CI/CD, monitoring and cloud deployment.
• Strong professional English is required for collaboration across European teams and client environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS AI services such as Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore or AWS Strands Agents.
• Experience with Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, Kubernetes, Helm, MLflow, Prometheus, Grafana or Spark.
• Experience delivering AI solutions in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, financial services or another regulated industry.
• Fluency in English, client-first mentality and experience designing reusable multi-agent architecture patterns.
