What you will do

• Monitor key portfolio indicators such as new business, renewals, loss ratios, and concentration risk to identify trends and risks.
• Analyze agent and regional performance to maximize distribution effectiveness.
• Evaluate portfolio profitability and loss trends to inform frequent pricing adjustments.
• Perform cost-benefit and ROI analysis to guide strategic Small Business investments.
• Develop recommendations to reduce friction and speed up decisioning using third-party data.
• Translate complex analyses into clear narratives for leadership and field teams.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Short Hills, New Jersey
• 3+ years of experience in P&L and/or analyzing and managing underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of Small Business portfolios, distribution models, and profitability drivers.
• Advanced analytical skills and experience with portfolio-level reporting.
• Ability to influence product and underwriting decisions through data-driven insights.
• College degree preferred.
