Project Finance Analyst

What you will do

• Own every aspect of project financial models, including underwriting assumptions, capital permutations, and value levers.
• Analyze financial results and communicate performance and pricing impacts with recommendations to improve project returns.
• Support project financing and tax credit transfer workstreams, including modeling, due diligence, dataroom management, and transaction document support.
• Contribute to deal execution activities such as third-party reports (independent engineer and appraisal) and project closing.
• Collaborate with Origination, Market Development, and Fleet Operations to incorporate construction, operational, and grant inputs into the model.
• Support legal structuring and bankability of agreements, including participation in approval stage-gate and committee reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in infrastructure, transportation, or renewables/power finance/capital markets.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experience with project finance/asset-backed finance and related transaction work (e.g., project underwriting, investment banking, municipal finance, real estate, energy, private equity/venture capital).
• Understanding of return metrics including NPV, IRR, and MOIC; basic knowledge of accounting and financial statements.
• Ability to present complex information clearly and manage multiple stakeholders on tight timelines.
