Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY). Expectation to be in the office at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $205,000 - $240,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and own valuation frameworks and ROI analyses for data and product partnerships.
• Build financial models and maintain a benchmark library of comparable transactions and historical pricing.
• Support deal leads in negotiations by providing data-driven analytical views and strategies.
• Design scalable operational systems, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure to track portfolio health.
• Act as a cross-functional liaison between Partnerships, Research, Product, and Finance to address operational challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, PE, VC, or internal strategy/ops at a tech company.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and the ability to build models from scratch.
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders across Research, Product, and Finance.
• Experience driving independent workstreams from initial question to final decision.
• Must be based in or be able to work from San Francisco or New York City.

Nice to have

• Operating experience inside a company beyond advisory or investing roles.
• Track record in negotiations, deal structuring, or product licensing.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools.
• Demonstrated fluency with Claude or other AI tools in daily analytical work.
