Forward Deployed AI Lead (Commercial Lines)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Short Hills, NJ; Hartford, CT; or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid role)

Salary: $163,000 - $220,000 USD/year

What you will do

• Serve as the primary AI evangelist and COE representative within the Commercial Lines business unit.
• Identify, shape, and document high-impact AI use cases aligned with business strategy.
• Manage the business unit's AI portfolio, monitoring initiative health and removing technical or resource barriers.
• Drive AI adoption by tracking metrics, gathering frontline feedback, and reinforcing behavioral change.
• Lead the AI Champions cohort to foster a network of change agents and knowledge sharing.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for AI engineers and architects.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Short Hills, NJ; Hartford, CT; or Charlotte, NC.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance operations, technology, product management, or business analysis.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property and casualty insurance operations.
• Practical working knowledge of AI concepts, including generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in change management and supporting adoption in operational environments.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with both technical teams and business leadership.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, or Power Platform.
• Professional designations such as CPCU, AU, or AIC.
• Microsoft AI or Copilot certifications.
