TL;DR

Product Engineer (AI): Building and optimizing AI systems and integrating Claude API into core products for digital native businesses, with an accent on architecture design, evaluation frameworks, and cutting-edge LLM implementation patterns. Focus on advising customer product and engineering teams, developing customized pilots and prototypes, and contributing insights back to our Product and Engineering teams.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle, USA. Expected in office at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 USD (Annual)

What you will do

• Serve as a specialist technical advisor to customers deploying new products and workflows with hirify.global models.
• Partner with account executives and solutions architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Influence technical architecture decisions and customer product strategy through customized pilots, prototypes, and evaluation suites.
• Lead hands-on technical workshops and code reviews with customer engineering teams.
• Identify common design patterns and contribute insights to Product and Engineering teams.
• Create scalable public and internal assets documenting the latest LLM prompting, evaling, agentic, and architecture techniques.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in technical roles such as Customer Engineer, Software Engineer, or Technical Product Manager with a desire to work closely with customers.
• Production experience with LLMs including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
• Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python or TypeScript for building production applications.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, execute across domains, and find simple solutions to complex problems.
• High cooperation mindset for cross-organizational collaboration and exceptional communication skills.
