What you will do

• Lead complex technical projects and provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance and site assessments.
• Oversee daily operations of the Environmental Department, ensuring high-quality project delivery and resource alignment.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while driving cross-selling across diverse service disciplines.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship and foster professional development for junior staff and project teams.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and manage key client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer in California.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental assessment and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record in operational management and business development within the A/E industry.
• Ability to create and execute a strategic growth plan for Southern California offices.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on team development.
