Location: On-site in San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $210,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead complex environmental assessment and remediation projects and provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee daily operations, project delivery quality, departmental policies, performance metrics, resource management, and backlog.
  • Drive business development across environmental assessment and remediation sectors, including cross-selling related civil, geotechnical, water, waste, and energy services.
  • Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners; lead proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Represent hirify.global at conferences, seminars, and networking events.
  • Mentor junior staff and project teams while promoting continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license in California.
  • At least 15 years of experience in environmental assessment and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven operational management and business development experience in the A/E industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards, with the ability to execute a strategic growth plan across Southern California offices.
