Field Engineer Technician (Electrical Distribution)

What you will do

• Design and modify overhead and underground electrical facilities following codes, client standards, and policies.
• Interface with customers via in-person site visits, phone, and email to collect data and obtain approvals.
• Perform cost estimates, create sales orders, and generate job sketches in client management systems.
• Initiate work orders for the construction department and update Customer Information Systems.
• Participate in system emergencies, such as storm restoration, providing field information and crew oversight.

Requirements

• AA / BA in Electrical Engineering or relevant Electrical Distribution Design experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical distribution design and knowledge of entry-level technical applications.
• Proficiency in CAD and GIS software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license to operate motor vehicles during working hours.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience and proficiency in Enquesta, GTECH, and GTViewer.
