Remediation Project Manager

Location: On-site in Buffalo, New York, United States, with the role based in the Lancaster, NY office. Limited travel is required for field visits.

Salary: $60,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the scope, schedule, and budget for tank closures, remedial excavations, test pit investigations, treatment systems, and related field work.
• Oversee project staff and ensure delivery within approved scope and budget.
• Coordinate schedules with internal staff, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, project reports, and client and regulatory correspondence.
• Coordinate with safety and quality management staff to maintain applicable standards.
• Support existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of progressive, relevant experience.
• Successful experience in project management, business development, and client management.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations, plus a valid NYS driver’s license and clean driving record.
