Junior Environmental Construction Project Manager (Environmental Construction): Managing remedial construction projects in Ballston Spa, including subcontractor sourcing, NYSDEC solicitations, work planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk control, and project closeout with an accent on subcontractor coordination and contract performance. Focus on managing scope, schedule, and cost, resolving contract disputes, and serving as the main point of contact between subcontractors and clients.

Location: Ballston Spa, New York, United States; on-site

Salary: $55,000–$75,000 per year

What you will do

Source cost estimates from subcontractors and submit required NYSDEC solicitations.
Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close remedial construction projects.
Build comprehensive work plans and manage project risks, scope, schedules, and budgets.
Manage subcontractors and monitor project performance throughout delivery.
Act as the main point of contact between subcontractors and clients.
Resolve contract disputes related to cost, scope, and schedule while collaborating with environmental and mechanical engineers, field service managers, and other project managers.

Requirements

Relevant project management experience; 3–10+ years preferred.
A relevant bachelor's degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience with New York State contracts and subcontractor solicitations is advantageous.
Valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Nice to have

40-hour HAZWOPER certification; training may be provided.
10-hour Construction Safety certification; training may be provided.
