What you will do

• Investigate property and inland marine claims, estimate damages, and manage documentation.
• Deploy to catastrophe and storm-affected regions within 24-48 hours of notification.
• Handle claims with aggregate values typically between $25,000 and $100,000.
• Determine coverage, negotiate settlements, and manage reserves within established authority.
• Provide estimating and coverage assistance to other team members during non-catastrophe periods.
• Respond to legal, regulatory, and appeals requests as needed.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and able to travel extensively, including air travel, for up to 30 consecutive days.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing.
• Proficiency in standard business and claim-specific computer software.
• Ability to work varying shifts as required by catastrophe events.
• Prefer 5 years of claims experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Commercial and Personal Lines coverages and computer-based damage estimating.
