Manager - Construction Claims: Overseeing a team of claims examiners in resolving construction bodily injury and defect claims of low to high complexity with an accent on coverage confirmation, reserve and settlement approvals, and regulatory compliance. Focus on directing assignments, stakeholder collaboration, performance evaluation, and large loss reviews.
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) across US offices including Richmond VA, Omaha NE, New York NY, Houston TX, Red Bank NJ. US Work Authorization required. does not provide visa sponsorship.
Salary: $97,520 - $134,090 (national average) + 25% incentive.

What you will do
- Confirm coverage by reviewing policies and documents for construction claims.
- Direct and monitor assignments of new loss activity.
- Review and approve correspondence, reports, reserves, and settlements.
- Make recommendations on reserve changes and participate in large loss discussions with stakeholders.
- Assess team and individual performance, provide feedback, coaching, and training.
- Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and channel partners; assist with budgets and special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; JD, advanced degree, or technical degree a plus.
- Must have or be eligible for claims adjuster license; industry designations (INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, CPCU) or management training preferred.
- Minimum 10 years claims handling experience; 5+ years as Senior or Executive Claims Specialist a plus.
- Excellent written/oral communication, analytical, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to deliver customer service and work in a team.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- US Work Authorization required; no visa sponsorship.
