Civil Engineer

Location: On-site in Charlotte, North Carolina, or Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead or support the design of site, roadway, stormwater, and utility improvements.
• Manage project development, proposals, budgets, and client relationships.
• Prepare engineering plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor emerging engineers.
• Support funding applications, permitting, public engagement, and construction administration.
• Contribute to business development and proposal efforts while developing trusted-advisor capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in public infrastructure design and project delivery.
• PE license or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of Autodesk design tools and public works standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
