Senior Cost Manager MEP (Data Center)

Location: On-site in Port Dickson and/or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do

• Manage the full tender and bid process, from initial documentation through to analysis and reporting.
• Oversee the change management process by identifying, analyzing, and implementing changes affecting project costs.
• Create detailed estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Track project spend by producing valuations and cost reports to communicate variations to the team.
• Support the settlement of construction disputes and loss and expense claims with transparency.
• Mentor and lead employees to foster top performance and professional growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cost manager on large-scale construction projects, ideally from a consultancy background.
• Deep understanding of M&E Systems and the ability to read services drawings and schematics.
• Expertise in pre-contract cost management, budget control, and cost planning.
• Chartered status or currently on the path to completing professional chartership.
• Must be comfortable working on-site in Port Dickson and/or Kuala Lumpur.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
