Construction Project Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite in Penang or Kulim, Malaysia

hirify.global Foundry Construction and Sourcing delivers large-scale semiconductor manufacturing construction projects, including new wafer fabrication factories, fab conversions, process tool installations, infrastructure, and progressive builds.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver major industrial construction projects from initiation through closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, compensation strategies, project controls, and change management.
• Coordinate mechanical, process, bulk gas, electrical, architectural, water, PSSS, IT, and instrumentation and controls disciplines.
• Partner with customer management, Tool Install, Facilities Operations, and Factory teams to develop and execute integrated project plans.
• Lead diverse construction project teams and manage project resources and contracts.
• Drive safety, quality, and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field, with 9+ years of experience in project or construction management on major industrial facilities and large-scope base-build projects.
• Experience with MS Project, contract management, schedule and budget development and management, change control, and construction means and methods.
• Leadership, problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite in Penang or Kulim, Malaysia.
• Experienced-hire profile; the role reports to the Senior Construction Manager and works on Shift 1 in Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Semiconductor industry experience.
