What you will do
- Lead daily assembly operations and deliver safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Plan production resources, including manpower, equipment, tools, fixtures, and materials, to meet demand and capacity needs.
- Drive production scheduling, line balancing, labor utilization, equipment effectiveness, productivity, and cost improvement.
- Lead new product introductions, product transfers, process qualifications, production ramp-ups, and capacity expansions.
- Manage quality improvement through corrective actions, quality notifications, audits, yield improvement, defect reduction, and process controls.
- Develop assembly teams, lead training and succession planning, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and Maintenance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience leading high-volume assembly manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated success in meeting quality, delivery, cost, and safety objectives.
- Experience with production ramp-ups, capacity expansion, NPI, product transfers, process validation, and manufacturing readiness.
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes, manufacturing workflows, quality systems, root-cause analysis, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and people-development skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing transformations and smart manufacturing or digitalization initiatives.
- A track record of Lean Six Sigma, structured problem-solving, and data-driven operational improvements.
