VP of Strategic Finance

Location: Based in the United States (Austin area preferred) with occasional in-person collaboration at the Austin, TX office

Salary: $190,000–$220,000 base + 10–20% performance bonus

What you will do

• Own budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and driver-based financial modeling.
• Lead scenario planning to support strategic decisions on growth, pricing, and investments.
• Oversee treasury and capital management, including cash management, liquidity planning, debt compliance, and working capital optimization.
• Prepare investor and Board reporting using SaaS metrics and financial models to support fundraising and due diligence.
• Partner cross-functionally (Revenue, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Operations) to evaluate products, GTM investments, and growth opportunities through a financial lens.
• Build and develop a high-performing FP&A organization and establish scalable financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, treasury, strategic finance, or corporate finance, including 5+ years in a VP/Senior Director (or equivalent) leadership role.
• Experience leading finance in a private equity- or venture-backed SaaS company with recurring revenue, ideally $50M–$150M ARR.
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models and expertise in financial modeling and revenue planning.
• Hands-on treasury experience: cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, debt facilities, covenant compliance, banking relationships, and working capital optimization.
• Expertise in driver-based modeling, scenario analysis, and executive decision support, including Board/investor reporting around SaaS KPIs (ARR, CARR, EBITDA, NDR, GDR, LTV/CAC, unit economics).
• Authorization to work in the United States without stipulations and residency in the United States; background check and E-Verify required after offer.
