Team Leader / Sr. Civil Engineer (Land Development)

Location: On-site in Syracuse, New York, United States

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

What you will do

• Recruit, develop, and manage staff to successfully complete and stamp large-scale Land Development projects.
• Lead design, planning, and scheduling activities for civil engineering projects.
• Conduct business development, marketing, and public outreach in the Syracuse, NY region.
• Perform quality assurance and control reviews to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Facilitate communication and meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Interpret local codes from various jurisdictions to determine site development regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in civil engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in civil engineering, with 3+ years of experience managing staff.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York required (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).
• Experience in planning, organizing, scheduling, and project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Syracuse, NY.
