Location: Must be based in the USA (New York, NY) and be a U.S. Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Hybrid: 3+ days per week on-site.

Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage and grow a team of engineers building the core pipeline for cloud, container, and Kubernetes protection.
• Drive technical strategy and roadmap delivery for the Proactive Security group.
• Architect enterprise-grade solutions scaling from thousands to millions of requests per second.
• Collaborate with product management and security researchers to evolve the proactive detection platform.
• Own validation processes and implement automated workflows to maintain high security standards.
• Mentor and develop a distributed team of cloud-specialized software engineers and technical leads.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
• Must be able to work 3+ days per week on-site from the New York office.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in management positions.
• Expertise in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Programming proficiency in Golang, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, ElasticSearch and building systems at cloud scale.
