Senior Solutions Engineer (SaaS)

Location: London, UK; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote; travel up to approximately 25% for customer meetings, workshops, and events.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise discovery to uncover business problems, objectives, technology landscapes, and decision-making structures.
• Design and present outcome-focused demonstrations that connect platform capabilities to customer goals, use cases, KPIs, and measurable value.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor across architecture, integrations, security, compliance, procurement, IT, and executive stakeholder discussions.
• Design fit-for-purpose configurations and architectures, lead proof-of-value engagements, configure trial environments, and measure results against agreed success criteria.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success on deal strategy, customer requirements, roadmap input, and post-sale handoff.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers, support onboarding and knowledge sharing, and provide strategic technical support for enterprise opportunities across the UK and EMEA.

Requirements

• Experience in SaaS presales or solution engineering, preferably supporting enterprise-level deals.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, APIs, webhooks, SSO/SAML, security, and compliance concepts.
• Demonstrated discovery, storytelling, outcome-selling, presentation, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to use generative AI and modern presales tools for account research, technical responses, security questionnaires, demonstrations, and workflow automation.
• Experience mentoring or influencing others in presales, consulting, or solution engineering environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; willingness to travel up to approximately 25%.
