Senior Cost Manager (Pharmaceutical)

What you will do

• Participate in the tender and bid process from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Manage the change management process by identifying, analyzing, and implementing cost-affecting changes.
• Create detailed estimates, cost plans, and valuations for key client developments.
• Prepare final accounts and handle claims to ensure the client receives maximum value.
• Oversee project spend and communicate cost variations clearly to the team.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to foster the growth of junior employees.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, ideally within a consultancy background and pharmaceutical projects.
• Proven expertise in pre-contract cost management, budget control, and knowledge of construction materials.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a construction or project management discipline.
• Chartered status or currently on the path to completing certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Must be located in Beijing.
