What you will do

• Assemble boiler tanks and connect pipe systems, valves, and gauges using welding equipment and hand tools based on blueprints.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning vats, replacing defective tubes, and lubricating moving parts.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and conduct pressure tests to prevent leaks and ensure efficient operation.
• Regulate equipment and adjust controls while maintaining logs of fuel usage and pressure levels.
• Ensure compliance with Stationary Engineers and Boiler Operators safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Maryland (MD) Stationary Engineer Grade 1 license (500+ horsepower) is mandatory
• At least 5 years of experience operating and maintaining boiler plants
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MD Grade 1 Stationary Engineer
• Must pass a government background check
• Ability to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects, navigate confined spaces, and work in high-temperature environments
