What you will do

• Perform a wide variety of mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and fabrication including pipefitting and rigging.
• Dismantle, overhaul, reassemble, and adjust turbines, generators, boilers, pumps, and valves.
• Inspect and lubricate all plant equipment routinely to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
• Use burning torches and welding equipment to perform repair welding and integrity tests on piping.
• Develop job plans and utilize sketches, blueprints, and complex technical drawings.

Requirements

• GED/HS Diploma or 5 years of related professional experience.
• Ability to work onsite in West Palm Beach, FL.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Physical capacity to lift/carry 50lbs, climb, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Qualification to wear a full-face respirator and work in various weather conditions.

Nice to have

• Experience with boilers, cranes, soot blowers, motors, turbines, condensers, and conveyors.
• Professional welding experience.
