What you will do

• Construct, install, and repair stationary steam boilers, closed vats, and pressure vessels.
• Assemble boiler tanks and connect pipe systems, valves, and gauges using welding equipment and blueprints.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning vats, replacing tubes, and lubricating moving parts.
• Diagnose malfunctions and conduct pressure tests to prevent leaks and inefficient operation.
• Regulate equipment and maintain fuel and pressure logs to meet safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Licensed as Maryland (MD) Stationary Engineer Grade 2 (300 to 499 horsepower).
• At least 3 years of experience operating and maintaining boiler plants.
• At least 1 year of experience specifically as an MD Grade 2 Stationary Engineer.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in high-pressure/high-temperature environments.
• Must be able to pass a government background check.
