What you will do

• Lead facilities technicians responsible for inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and repairs across campus-wide systems.
• Coordinate daily work, prioritize assignments, and oversee plumbing, electrical, HVAC, compressed air, and mechanical operations.
• Plan and execute site improvement projects aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor contractor work, enforce safety procedures, and report or stop unsafe work when necessary.
• Maintain records, coordinate vendor finances with buyers and accounts payable, and manage service performance.
• Coach and develop technicians while communicating daily activities, project status, and issues to management.

Requirements

• Onsite availability in Memphis, Tennessee, or Southaven, Mississippi, United States.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• At least 3 years of facilities management experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment including chilled water systems, boilers, VFDs, pumps, PLCs, condensers, split systems, air compressors, and dust collectors.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Experience with building management and automated facilities monitoring systems.
• Experience managing budgets, third-party vendors, contracts, and service-cost comparisons.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with asset management software and continuous improvement initiatives.
