Special Education Tutor Coach

What you will do

• Lead tutor onboarding, curriculum navigation, and Learning Plan reviews.
• Coach tutors on SPED strategies including autism, ADHD, and behavior supports.
• Develop SPED toolkits, sample lessons, and progress-monitoring resources.
• Facilitate monthly professional development webinars and provide feedback through observations.
• Manage edtech tools and maintain a Virtual Resource Hub.
• Ensure lesson plans align with standards and IEP/504 accommodations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required.
• 3+ years of K–12 SPED experience as a teacher, case manager, or interventionist.
• Clear and excellent English communication skills required.
• Must be willing to complete a recorded self-interview to apply.
• Expertise in UDL, RTI/MTSS, and behavior supports.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and various edtech platforms.

Nice to have

• State SPED certification or Master’s degree.
• Experience with ELL, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
