What you will do

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC/R equipment including RTUs, AHUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and controls issues and perform system commissioning and functional testing.
• Mentor and coach junior HVAC technicians and apprentices on safety and troubleshooting best practices.
• Build positive client relationships and provide professional repair recommendations and technical guidance.
• Ensure strict compliance with provincial safety legislation, WHMIS, and building codes.
• Manage work orders and asset lifecycle documentation using CMMS platforms.

Requirements

• Licensed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (313A).
• Gas Technician 2 (G2) licence and Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certification.
• 4th Class Power Engineer designation.
• 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience in institutional, healthcare, or industrial facilities.
• Valid Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.

Nice to have

• Gas Technician 1 (G1) licence.
• Previous experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians.
