What you will do

• Operate and maintain regulated mechanical equipment including boilers, chillers, heat exchangers, and air receivers.
• Perform regulatory inspections and assessments of steam plants, district energy systems, and ventilation units.
• Execute routine maintenance on belt drives, pumps, compressors, and emergency generators.
• Utilize Building Management Systems (BMS) to evaluate system performance and manage equipment operation.
• Conduct and record chemical treatments for boiler and chiller plants.
• Respond to emergency service calls and implement safety protocols to minimize system downtime.

Requirements

• BC Fourth Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency.
• 3-5 years of experience in a building mechanical systems environment.
• Valid B.C. Class 5 driver's license.
• Knowledge of BAS, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software.
