What you will do

• Guide technical communication between customers and internal teams to ensure requirements are accurately understood and implemented.
• Create and maintain critical engineering specifications, including DFMEAs and DVP&Rs throughout the product development phase.
• Provide on-site engineering support at customer locations for tasks such as software reflashing and sample correction.
• Lead root cause analysis of warranty products and coordinate findings with global engineering teams across different time zones.
• Support RFQ and RFP stages by developing technical review materials and acting as the lead technical point of contact for assigned products.
• Conduct technical research and benchmarking to identify new business opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of development engineering experience in the automotive or a related industry.
• Practical experience with power electronics, specifically converter and inverter technologies.
• Proficiency in analyzing semiconductors (MOSFET, diode, gate drive) and digital circuits.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and utilize circuit analysis equipment such as oscilloscopes and function generators.
• Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in electrical or electronic engineering with an emphasis on power electronics.
• Experience working with OEM or Tier 1 Automotive suppliers.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean.
