TL;DR

hirify.global's Protection Business Unit develops high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductor protection integrated circuits for infrastructure, consumer, and industrial hardware applications.

What you will do

  • Perform temperature characterization of new semiconductor products and assist product engineers with electrical characterization.
  • Use oscilloscopes, specialized test apparatus, TLP, ESD equipment, and automated test equipment.
  • Conduct engineering experiments, operational tests, and detailed measurements to collect product data.
  • Use schematics to probe or package hardware for bench and automated test equipment testing.
  • Analyze customer-returned parts, isolate faults, and fulfill internal and external requests for technical data.
  • Coordinate technician workloads and scheduling while communicating with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Technical associate degree and/or 1–5 years of related technician experience.
  • Ability to work onsite in Camarillo, California, five days per week.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and effective organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, circuit construction, laboratory procedures, and electrical measurements.
  • Strong soldering skills and the ability to work with small surface-mount devices.

Nice to have

  • Experience with curve tracers, DMMs, VNA, surge testers, power supplies, AC measurement techniques, and micro-probers.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Semiconductor industry experience.
  • Soldering certificate.
