What you will do

• Serve as Project Manager and Technical Lead for water and wastewater treatment facility projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead the planning, design, and evaluation of treatment processes including filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, and solids handling.
• Develop technical deliverables such as engineering reports, feasibility studies, process calculations, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for municipal clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical excellence and career growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience managing engineering projects and leading technical teams.
• Must be based in or able to work from Phoenix, AZ.

Nice to have

• Experience managing treatment projects through the design and construction phases.
• Knowledge of treatment process modeling, permitting, and regulatory coordination.
• Experience with municipal water and wastewater standards.
