What you will do

• Support the planning and design of new water and wastewater treatment facilities, as well as expansions and rehabilitation projects.
• Perform treatment process evaluations, technical calculations, and system sizing.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, feasibility studies, and planning documents.
• Develop project plans, technical specifications, and detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers.
• Ensure high-quality, client-focused project delivery throughout the construction lifecycle.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience.
• Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Prior design experience on water or wastewater projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
• Must be based in or able to work in Phoenix, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Experience with filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, or solids handling processes.
• Direct exposure to the operations of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with high attention to detail.
