What you will do

• Own BOM accuracy and MRP translation for transformer products, including tanks, core & coil, and dielectric oil.
• Develop and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) aligned with contract manufacturer capacity.
• Define inventory strategies for safety stock and build-to-order vs. build-to-stock decisions.
• Manage lead times and allocation for critical long-lead items to mitigate shortages and geopolitical risks.
• Oversee global tariff and trade compliance, including HTS classification and USMCA qualification.

Requirements

• 4+ years in materials management or supply chain, ideally in heavy electrical equipment or transformer manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with BOM management, MRP/ERP systems, and master scheduling.
• Proven track record managing long lead-time materials and offshore contract manufacturers.
• Working knowledge of tariff classification and trade compliance (Section 301/232, USMCA, HTS).
• Strong analytical skills for building inventory, capacity, and risk models.
• Must be based in Houston.
