Data Center Engineer

Location: Onsite in Boca Raton, FL

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain converged and hyperconverged virtual infrastructure.
• Manage configuration and administration of high-performance mass storage arrays in SAN deployments.
• Configure and support enterprise storage devices using iSCSI, Fiber Channel, CIFS, NFS, and FCoE protocols.
• Perform on-prem to cloud migrations and manage Windows server environments.
• Oversee policies for storage provisioning, uptime, and data protection.
• Respond to 24/7 infrastructure alarms as part of an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a data center production environment.
• 7+ years of experience managing VMware and Windows systems.
• In-depth knowledge of EMC/Pure storage systems and enterprise networking.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and drawing software like Excel and Visio.
• Relevant vendor certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or DELL/EMC/Pure).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
