Systems Administrator (Senior-Level)

Location: Non-remote position in Sierra Vista, Arizona, supporting operations at Fort Huachuca, Arizona; relocation incentive available.

What you will do

• Administer and sustain physical and virtual Windows, Linux/UNIX, and Active Directory server environments.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, enterprise services, hardware, and network connectivity.
• Provide Tier II/III technical support, including workstation deployment, peripheral support, user account administration, and technical training.
• Manage network infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, encryptors, LAN/WAN connections, and copper/fiber cabling.
• Implement cybersecurity controls, support RMF activities and ATO documentation, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents and classified spillage events.
• Execute backup, recovery, contingency, and disaster recovery procedures while supporting modernization, documentation, technical briefings, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required.
• Non-remote work at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
• At least 10 years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems, including Windows and/or Linux servers, virtualization, Active Directory, and networked infrastructures.
• IAT Level II certification or higher under DoD 8570/8140, such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP.
• A second industry-recognized certification in a relevant technical discipline is required.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware vSphere/ESXi, and enterprise network troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience supporting DoD, Army, DISA, NETCOM, USAISEC, or other federal government environments.
• Experience with videoconferencing, VoIP, audio/visual technologies, fiber optic cabling, or digital media interfaces.
• VMware VCP, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems and VIP end users.
