Storage Solutions Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and operate enterprise storage platforms supporting compute, virtualization, database, and Kubernetes workloads.
• Manage block, file, and object storage across data center, edge, and cloud environments.
• Engineer storage solutions using NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage, and Ceph.
• Integrate storage with VMware and Kubernetes through CSI.
• Automate storage engineering workflows using Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs.
• Optimize performance, data protection, capacity, and cost while troubleshooting storage, network, and host layers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise storage engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in NetApp ONTAP or Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade.
• Production-scale experience with Ceph and strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, and object storage protocols.
• Experience integrating storage with VMware and Kubernetes, plus strong scripting and automation skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• NCDA, NCIE, or Pure Storage certifications.
• Experience with hybrid-cloud storage replication and software-defined storage beyond Ceph.
• Experience with petabyte-scale object storage.
• Exposure to AI/ML workloads with extreme I/O requirements.
