Group Tutor (K-8 Education)

Location: On-site at a dedicated school site in Union City, Hayward, or Newark, California, United States

Part-time after-school schedule of approximately 3–3.5 hours per day, 3–4 days per week; expected to begin in September.

hirify.global provides academic tutoring and enrichment programs for elementary and middle school students.

What you will do

• Deliver academic tutoring and enrichment to small groups of students in grades K–8.
• Implement age-appropriate lessons in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and encouraging classroom environment.
• Track student progress, adapt instruction, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with school-site coordinators and classroom teachers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a closely related field.
• At least two years of tutoring, teaching, or similar instructional experience with elementary or middle school students in group settings.
• Availability to work strictly in person at the designated school site.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with students, parents, and school staff.
• Successful FBI–DOJ background check and negative TB test result required.
• Ability to create fun, interactive learning experiences and work comfortably in a classroom.

• Current teaching credential.
